This’s my first experiment about use Android smartphone to control RC vehicle.
i was build my own android app for run on Android smart phone.
my app name is ADT79 JoyBlue RC.
ADT79 JoyBlue RC features:
+ control via bluetooth with max range 10 meters
+ 2 joystick 4 axis. Joy1 axis-X1 axis-Y1, Joy2 axis-X2 axis-Y2
+ 8 function switch
i add small bluetooth module with 9TURBO RC sound & light control unit.
and write new firmware for control allthings by bluetooth instead of RC servo signal.
my modified RC S&L control unit have this feature . . .
+ control it via bluetooth
+ 3 channel for servo control
+ 8 channel for lamp set control
+ engine, exhaust, horn sound
my android smartphone is Lenovo A820

GPU: PowerVR SGX544
OS: Android V4.1.2 Jelly Bean
Display: 4.5″ QHD, 960 x 540, 16M Colors, IPS-LCD
Connection: Bluetooth, wi-fi, 3G HSPA/HSPA+, Edge/GPRS, USB
Sensors: GPS, G-sensor, P-sensor, L-sensor
This experiment is my first step, but i think this’s a big step of me.
because of, now i have knowledge to control many things with my android smartphone via bluetooth.
